Makeup is one of those things you can either love or hate dislike. Those who love are good at it, take their time and are extremely passionate about the latest trends. Those who dislike, make it happen in five minutes or less, they just need the basics and well lets be honest, that perfect winged eye line never happens!
As I fall on the "rarely wear makeup" side, the hardest thing for me is finding the right foundation. Not too heavy for everyday and matches my skin to a T where my neck doesn't look like it was separated from my head at some point in life.
So after many failed attempts and lot's of recommendations later we decided on one gal.
At Ivory Boutique, we carry a lipstick and lip gloss line from a local make up artist. We have been obsessing over them because they last forever and moisturize. The line, Pink Blush Artistry, by Cynthia Berry also carries blushes, custom blend mineral makeup, highlighters and much more.
We made the appointment and after only 30 minutes my custom blend mineral makeup was done.
She looks at your skin, takes a couple of ideas and mixes here and there to match. We went outside to check in natural light and once we made a final decision I went home with what is now a fave staple in my small makeup bag!

The foundation is very natural and not heavy at all! It also creates an airbrushed picture look that we love. And it's all organic and natural.
